Atwood Center Public Hours

The Atwood Center is open FREE to the public every Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Atwood Center staff will be on hand with a wealth of knowledge to share about the park. From the animal inhabitants to the wide variety of ecosystems, Atwood Park’s biodiversity is something you’ll want to see for yourself. Come out and explore the beauty of the woodlands, marsh, prairies, and river today!


Birds of Prey Feeding

Join us for a birds of prey feeding every Saturday at 1:00pm.

The FREE Birds of Prey exhibit is very special and unique to the Northern Illinois/Southern Wisconsin area.

This captivating exhibit features up-close views of raptors and is one of the few accessible tree houses in Illinois.

Visitors are welcome to observe, take pictures, and ask questions year-round.


In the Outdoors

Be “In the Outdoors” all season long, rain or shine, you can’t go wrong! It’s great for all ages, through all of life’s stages. Bring your scout group, or your whole family!

Year-round monthly events are FREE, pre-registration is recommended.
